Pinnacles Canyon Conejos River

Pinnacles Canyon named for its fantasyland of volcanic ash spires and unusual lava grottos, boasts eight miles of continuous Class III and IV rapids to keep your adrenaline flowing as we maneuver our way through the narrow twisting channels. Our one and two day journeys move at a moderate pace, covering a total of 10 miles each day. We will have time to explore old mining towns and other interesting features of the high alpine region. If we are lucky, we might catch a glimpse of big horn sheep, black bear, mule deer, or other high country forest dwellers.
